&Beyond's Xaranna Tented Camp is situated near a permanent channel of the Okavango Delta in 25 000 hectares of pristine wilderness that is shared by only 18 guests. The Camp boasts breathtaking views of the channel, providing guests with a water and wilderness experience that combines the best of what the Okavango has to offer. Birders should watch out for the elusive Pel's fishing owl, while the endangered African wild dog and semi-aquatic red lechwe are endemic to the area.
NEW SPECIES OF FISH
In the summer months (and sometimes winter) one can find the elephants swimming in the channels of the Okavango Delta. They are truly like children when playing together in the water. This is always a highlight for me to see.
