Whilst watching a young male leopard relaxing at the watersedge, a big bull rhino came down to wallow. the sun had set and watched in the twilight as the rhino chose the mud only metres away from where the leopard was lying. We decided to spend the heat of the day resting in the shade overlooking Big Dam. When we arrived there was an impressive flock of vultures bathing and sunning themselves. 123 White-backed, 4 Lappet-faced, 2 Hooded, 1 White-headed and 1 rare Cape! And then we waited...
An hour or so later, the first elephants arrived. A group of bulls made their way...

After exciting viewing of a female cheetah and 3 cubs hunting a herd of impala, to no avail, they gave up and rested on a termite mound. The previous evening, however, the impala had not been so lucky and had fallen prey to another single female cheetah that we had viewed feeding. Every drive with these guests had an incredible sighting: from a buffalo...

This morning we were watching a lioness and her 2 youngsters and on the left of us a duiker suddenly sprinted in the opposite direction. As the duiker ran off, it lokked like afterbirth had fallen to the ground. At this stage the youngsters were running around and playing heading in the direction of the afterbirth. We all sat watching holding our breaths...
