&Beyond's Xaranna Tented Camp is situated near a permanent channel of the Okavango Delta in 25 000 hectares of pristine wilderness that is shared by only 18 guests. A male lion was spotted on the far end of our concession in December 2011. He is obviously not viewed frequently as he was very skittish and could not be viewed at close range. This lion resembles the true "wild" side of the Okavango Delta, and the fact that there are many unexplored areas and Islands. With a picnic and a day of exploring, these wild "gems" can be discovered by anyone...
