 whilst filming at nxabega, we were shooting from a boat on one of the delta channels we turned a corner to come face to face with a male bull elephant having an afternoon cooldown. we managed to sit quietly for a good half hour while he wallowed and played in the water,

 After a wonderful boat cruise through the delta, Basha (Ranger) and Spar (Tracker) came across this rare sighting of a python constricting the last bit of life out of this helpless vervet monkey. Thanks to Manu for these great pic's.

 Over the last few days guests have been truly blessed in seeing one of natures most beautiful cats in action. We followed the drag marks across the road till we found her in thickets.She had an Impala kill.A day after she dragged and hoisted the kill up a leadwood tree.We enjoyed the sighting for 3 days.No hyaenas or vultures seen at the sighting.Nxabega hyaena seems to rely on scavenging around the camp. A breeding herd of elephants paid us a visit to camp on a beautiful and warm afternoon.Most of the drop offs were done a bit late due to the delay on the road.Big matriarch taking control.Wonderful sighting. Vincent and Joe

 Its probably unusual to see an owl in the open in broad day light.But that what we saw.Just near the lodge when we were returnig after the mornign game drive,we spotted a Giant Eagle Owl sitting on a dry branch.Its gets very cold at this time of the year.So was probably sunning itself and we were able to enjoy such a big and impressive bird which looked...
