One afternoon, while viewing a female cheetah and her 5 cubs, we noticed a female Warthog and a piglet walking towards the cheetah. The female cheetah then moved off and left the 5 cubs on their own. The 5 cubs then noticed the warthog and gave chase and managed to corner the young piglet. As the cubs were only 12 months old they did not seem very sure of...

It is not often that you see a predator feeding off its own kind. Our surprise was great when we came upon a jackal feeding off another jackal. on closer inspection we found that the jackals back had large puncture wounds and a broken spine. We also then found fresh lion tracks around the animal indicating that it had been killed by lion.

We then followed the lioness and cubs, not sure how the other lions would recieve them as there were already 2 big males and 4 lionesses feeding. Luckily the 2 males...

While on our way back to the lodge one night, we came upon a small spotted genet that appeared to be stalking something. After moving closer we saw that the genet was trying to kill a brown house snake. After nearly 15 minutes the exhausted genet managed to pin the snake down and deliver a killing bite behind its head. It then had to untangle itself from...
