RARE DOG IN THE SERENGETI

Two days ago we came across a few of the guides when dropping guests at the Grumeti air strip and they were talking about the wild dog that they had seen in the area.

I had been in this area for ten years and have never seen one. They laughed at me and took out their camera to show me the pictures.I told them that I didn't think that this sighting was from the Serengeti, especially in the western corridor. They then called another guide and he too, told me that they had seen the dog before they crossed the Grumeti River on the way to the air strip.

Great news to have this rare dog back in the bush and especially so close to us here in the western corridor.
