Immersed in monkey-rich forest, Kichwa Tembo is an opulent oasis of Hemingway-style tents with sweeping views of the greatest grassland system in the world - the exquisite Masai Mara. Kichwa Tembo Bateleur Camp is a smaller, exclusive camp adjacent to the main camp.
RARE HUNTING DOG IN THE KICHWA AREA
A big suprise - a hunting dog made an apearance. We saw one male that we managed to take photos of and he was beautiful.
Oh James I am TOTALLY jealous of your sighting. I knew there were some dogs around but hadn't been seen for a while. Keep us posted and let's hope that the 'dogs' return to the Mara in numbers.

Woo Hoo James , I am with Dana! It would be wonderful to have a group of the African Dogs right in the middle of the Mara on the Eluae Plains! It's very quiet out there and there's lots of space. Let's hope they may appear on our next visit. Great Sighting!
