Rhino tracking
This morning we headed from Ngala tented camp for a rhino walk some were in the south of the park, after a 20 min drive Solly spotted some lion tracks following a heard of Buffalo. We thought that the lions would be following the buffalo in order to try and catch on for a meal so knowing the landscape we drove around to a point were we could possibly see the buffalo from a distance and then maybe see the lions hot on there trail. Solly again spotted the tracks back on the next road we were on and not long from there we found the lions sleeping on the road. After that we carried on looking for some fresh rhino tracks and there they were very fresh rhino track Solly said so we stopped and had a look the track were fresh and so we set off on foot after the animal after about an 2 hour tracking experience we found the animal sleeping in some very thick bush but managed to get a quick look. It was very rewarding to find him after a long walk. Tracking back to the Land Rover full of ecstasy was like a breeze and then we had a quick drink before heading back to camp. To top off the morning we also found a Pack of wild dogs sleeping next to the road, this was the cherry on top.
