Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is perched on the edge of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania. It lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8 000 square kilometres (3 100 square miles) of pristine African wilderness.
Running clan+us tailling them =?
it is a clear morning and the recent rains make the whole crater floor to look as a beautiful green paradise,
just at the north east of the crater by Kilima cha Morum we saw the clan of about twenty hyaenas running towards the hill and we decided to follow them by the other way around and we found two female lioness just finihed to eat the wilderbeest and hyaenas took over the carcas by the other hyaenas approaching the sightting they drew the attention of one male and female lions and started hearding towards where the scenary was and flashed all the hyaenas away while the lioness was participating on chasing the hyaenas one of the hyaena accidentaly came across the gazzelle fawn and killed her and the lioness spoted that action and kept chassing the hyaena untill that hyaena dropped the gazzelle faw and the lioness scavenged on that fawn that goes back to the two lioness had their kill and hyaenas drove them away from their kill because they had been outnumbered and the other chased the hyaenas away and hyaena got their own kill and it has been took away from them we call that match is draw
so, after the running clan of hyaenas and we joined the rally we saw the kill
A particularly great sighting. I keenly follow Eddie's sightings and this is one of the best. I can picture the running clan of hyaenas taking over the carcas!
