Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp consists of ten delightful tents tucked away in the extraordinary Serengeti National Park - widely seen as the planet's greatest functioning ecosystem. The Grumeti River has some of the world's biggest hippos and Nile Crocodiles. During certain times of year, you have a ring-side seat for the famous great migration.
Shake it up!
About 3 weeks ago, we were at Grumeti on an afternoon gamedrive. We came accross a cheetah and cubs. She had been injured on her front right leg, possibly from the night before. There were hyenas in the area which may have caused the injury. However, she had cubs to feed and that did not stop her. We watched as she stalked some gazelles while the sun was setting over the Serengeti plains. Unfortunately the light faded and we could not follow her anymore but we were all sure of her success.
