Sight & Speed Hunters in Savuti

We arrived in Savuti in the afternoon and decided to do a short game drive. We picked up two cheetahs - two males commonly known as the “Savuti Brothers” The brothers were relaxed with full bellies and had obviously had a successful hunt. The next morning we went out for a drive again and found them lying down in tall grass near a water hole patiently waiting for their prey. After about 20 minutes a group of warthog came slowly towards the water hole and the brothers were ready to get their meal. Unfortunately luck did not come their way, as the warthog detected danger and ran away before the brothers could pounce. It was a fantastic sighting!
