Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is sheltered in a forest of wild palms and fig trees and flanked by the papyrus-rich channels of the Okavango Delta. The sensitively designed lodge witnesses the ever-changing moods of the Delta, from wintry oasis to rainy rejuvenation.
SNAKE BATTLE
Two Mozambique spitting cobras were seen battling it out right in front of the dining area. They fought for over an hour, providing our guests with an amazing sighting during tea. At the end of the day, the slightly larger snake (only by about an inch or so) killed the smaller one and ate it - a little gruesome, but that is what nature is all about.
