Kirkman's Kamp
Kirkman's Kamp, with its spectacular views of the unspoilt wilderness and the Sabi Sand River, is regarded as one of the best loved lodges in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. A well known historic camp, originally built in the early 1920's Kirkmans Kamp celebrates the atmosphere of an early South African lowveld homestead.

The dogs return
It was early morning when we came across fresh tracks of a pack of wild dogs heading north along the road. We follwed the tracks for a while finding fresh dung and smells along the way. We turned the corner to find that the dogs had just caught an impala lamb and 14 dogs finshed it in no time.
Just around the corner another two dogs had just caught another impala lamb and they continued to feast on it by themselves.
