THE RETURN

Our day started at 05.00 this morning and by 05.15 we were out of the camp. It was me, Radi and Oscar, and we decided to drive as far as we could to try and get to see what we have been missing in areas that we don't go to every day. By 06.30, we had travelled a long distance and just as I looked on to my left, I just shouted, "Leopard! Oh, Oh! Cheetah!"

There it was, strolling beside the road! Then we realised that it was quite relaxed. It must have been one of the 6 cheetahs that we are used to seeing around here in Xaranna. We stayed with it for about 2 hours for Tshepo and Elicious to arrive to show it to their guests and then we left to have our coffee stop.

After that we were heading back again on the same road and to top everything off that morning, we had a quick glimpse of a leopard! This one looked shy and it ran away.
