THE TURTLES ARE BACK!
During the last two weeks, we had quite a lot of turtle sightings. It might be a sign that the nesting season is starting. Soon, the female green turtles will come visit Mnemba's beaches to lay their eggs. (photo credit: David Jackson)

I have never been to Mnemba island but the way you describe it certainly makes me want to make plans to come and visit this seemingly wonderful island Marie, it is obvious how fond you are of it. I love the beach and I think that going on a trip to see the island will be a great way to relieve stress. It's summer and I am sure the kids will be excited to help plan the trip. It's good to know that the turtles have come back to signal the start of their mating season. It will be great to have new hatchlings soon to populate the sea again.
