Three is Always Team!

The three male lions sighted in the Mukuyu area had for themselves to share a massive buffalo kill for three days. They killed the buffalo on 17-07-2007 and stayed at the site for the next 4 days. There were no signs of hyenas at the kill until the lions had left the whole half of the kill. The vultures sadly kept up the trees and could never dare get close to the kill in fear of these nicely manned Kalahari lions. Such a great combination of males will always ensure maximum energy consumed from the kill without disturbance, but to us and our guests the more they spend at a kill the much fun of splendid photography and enjoyment of seeing these massive cats!
