Valentine's Day for Lion

We went out for a game drive in Central Kalahari Game reserve, and this was a very productive tour with springbok, gemsbok, and a mating pair of lions. This was on the 14 of February, a valentine day for lions too! The male lion was not happy, to accommodate us get near them, of which we all understood. We parked our vehicle a good distance away from them so that they could be comfortable. This is not a common sighting even for those who spend much time in the field - for my guests it was their first time. We left them in peace and went back to the camp.
