Warthog Kill:
Warthog Kill:
Sunise over kwandwe, we head out from river lodge. Not 5 minutes in we come across 2 lionesses and a year old cub. With the echoes of the newly dominant male coming from across the fish river they head South. As the moved through euphorbia thickets they flushed a sounder of warthogs. All hell broke loose as pigs went running everywhere with lions in close persuite. The squealing was percing as the older lioness injured a piglet and left it for the cub to kill. It took the cub 15 minutes to kill the piglet, a harsh reality for the warthog as it was relentlessly bitten at yet a vital lesson in that young lions life. Next time im sure he will be more efficient.
