Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is sheltered in a forest of wild palms and fig trees and flanked by the papyrus-rich channels of the Okavango Delta. The sensitively designed lodge witnesses the ever-changing moods of the Delta, from wintry oasis to rainy rejuvenation.
WATCH MY BACK, I'LL WATCH YOURS...
On this day the afternoon drive started off on a lower note than usual. Only until late afternoon were we awarded with a pride of 5 lions! We had an opportunity to watch them stretch-up in a "get ready moment". They all got up and immediately spread out, forming a cow-horn shape as they scanned the bush for what we presumed to be a search for supper. Indeed it couldn't have been a better ending to the afternoon game drive.
