Water Monitor fishing

On afternoon game drive we came across this water monitor in a small pond in the sand river. We noticed that the monitor was using its tail and body to net the fish to the side of the bank and then catch them as he beached the fish or got them to shallower water. We watched him for about fifteen minutes as he caught about twenty small fish using his fishing technique. A lot of the fish managed to jump over him but overall it was very successful
