Weather and Wildebeest
We have some really special things here at Kwandwe. I've had at least 2 Caracal sightings a week for the last month or so. Mostly hunting animals, at night that we are unable to follow through the bush. At least every day I have seen Black Wildebeest, once nearly exterminated as a pest. I've counted 7 breeding pairs of Blue Cranes. I've seen tiny baby Aardwolf gambolling in the veld. I've seen 2 Brown Hyenas. I've seen 13 lion cubs born in the last year, and 18 cheetah cubs. Andy and I have found 6 chameleons this month and started trying to figure out what they are up to and what they are. I've also seen the backside of a leopard this week.
