Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is perched on the edge of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania. It lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8 000 square kilometres (3 100 square miles) of pristine African wilderness.
WHAT A DAY!
It's so nice and beautiful now to drive down to the crater floor. It's like a yellow carpet covered with nice flowers and other grasses such as bur marigold, chloris gayana etc. After the rains, you will likely see lots of zebras and wildebeest, just about everywhere. You may even experience a kill. It's so nice now - The animals are relaxed and enjoying the field.
