Wild dog Hunt

Now we all know how special it is to see wild dogs, and how lucky we are here at Exeter to have a few decent sized packs in there area on occasion but this mornings drive was truly spectacular! We tracked them for a good half hour before we found them but they quickly set off into thick bush hunting, it was a very difficult area to follow them through, but that didn't stop us! Because there were no vehicles responding we got to spend a long time with them and when wild dogs are hunting and you are able to follow them for a while, chances are that you will see them make a kill. We got there about 30 seconds too late but in the 5 minutes where we lost visual, they killed two impala, that's right, two! Thesee animals are incredible hunting machines and it was such a privilege to be able to show my guests just how good they are!
