Anybody who visits Xudum in the next couple of months should keep an eye out for a pair of African Barred Owlet's that seem to be living near room 8. During my stay I often heard and admired the pair but it was on the last day that I managed to photograph one of them. It was so relaxed, sitting low in a tree, allowing me to stand within 5 metres of it....

We suspected that the pride was responsible for the kill, living up to their reputation. This is the fifth sighting of lions killing these giant animals. These lions were sighted for a couple of days until the...

The elephants broke off and out of the island, crossing the straight to the main area. This was such an amazing moment! The young bulls trailed behind, play fighting and swimming. To see this is uncommon and...

A few hours before a beautiful sunset in the delta on a boat cruise, a very big crocodile which looked like a log on an island, posed for some pictures before throwing himself in the crystal clear water of an open channel on top of the water current, thus making the highlight of the day on a beautiful sundown spot.
