YOUNG PYTHON KILLED BABY KRIK'S DIK DIK
This was something a never seen before, If you can have a closer look of these photos; you will believe me.
The python was eating something. Initially we weren't sure what it was. I watched it for three hours; this python could not manage to swallow the whole dikdik. For three hours it could not manage to swallow, so he decided to leave it. I wondered if it was because finishing of the dikdik would be difficult for it and that there would be not enough space in the belly. I have no idea. The next morning I went there and the dikdik carcass was still there. Enjoy the pictures.

What a waste of such a cool little animal. I'm sure some scavenger will have a meal however. I saw a photo the other day of a python that tried to eat some sort of deer in the Everglades in Florida, USA and the snake exploded because the deer was too big and the skin of the snake didn't stretch enough. Yuk!
